However, there is some (rather archaic) code that could allow the embedding of ActiveX controls in pages in Firefox browsers. ActiveX is specific to Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, and is not natively supported by (any) Firefox builds. The developers of Pale Moon have removed some components from Firefox which most of the people don’t use and that do not interfere with the way web pages are displayed or function all to maximize speed and efficiency of the browser.įirefox features which have been disabled in Pale Moon:ġ.

Its a customized version which has been optimized for speed and efficiency. “ Pale Moon” is a web browser which is based on Mozilla Firefox. Though I would prefer to surf with less worry and let a chance to some websites/advertisers to gain money through non-problematic ads.If you are a Mozilla Firefox user but think the new version is heavy on resources and want to have a lite version of it, here is an excellent news for you.

It is tiresome but at least at the last pro-technical check my PC was diagnosed clean. I've tried to find some alternatives yet each time there are problems either to configure or even install said anti-advertizement add-ons.
PALE MOON PLUGINS PLUS
Albeit we actually miss a compatible/working Adblock Plus extension. I stick with Pale Moon because since the later versions and also policy evolutions of FireFox, contrary of most claims I think that very FireFox is neither the "safer" browser anymore nor the most "powerful". To those still ignoring it, for many years already Pale Moon is a fork from the ancient FireFox - before Australis but even earlier, since it then was built as a "FireFox more compatible for Windows OSs". I would like to ask for an extension specifically made for Pale Moon.
